I am not sure that other than Google and BBMaps there are world-wide. Verizon offers its gps app and has a different version for outside of the US but don't know its coverage.
There are some apps that allow you to download maps and compile your own map sets.

Telmap navigator works around the world. I have succesfully used it in Europe and USA and Canada. I really like the new version 5. Unfortunately the Beta is not open to US residents currently, however the beta works so well I would pay for it if I had not already got in on the Beta back when it was still open to US residents.

Wisepilot works just fine in Indonesia, its not free though, but it works great imho. It has a 7 or so days trial version, so u might want to download it before your next journey.
