Sometimes, and I have no idea what makes it appear and disappear, when I am makeing a phone call there is a small image in the upper rugt corner that looks like a flight of stairs. Does anyone know what it is and how to make it go away?

It is the Audio Enhancement. Press "L" to toggle between treble, bass or turn it off.
You had me... Based on the title, I thought you were going to ask about the signal meter. lol
