And that's exactly what they are doing by seeding these influencers with demonstrations and hands on play time. I saw that too and thought the same thing but then realized that here's proof that the way they have been doing things is actually getting the word out to those it normally wouldn't.
Honestly? Just wait a week. After BB10 launches things will change.

Yes, I think we all know this already, though I'm very certain that person was being sarcastic. RIM knows exactly what they're facing, and I'm confident that they will get the message out.
I think the bigger news is someone with over 250 thousand followers said BB10 is a lot better than iPhone and only 1 person made a stupid comment.
