"What puzzles me more..."
BlackBerry CEO, John Chen on T-Mobile’s Anti-BlackBerry Campaign | Inside BlackBerry
What puzzles me more is
1 CEO attacks another company that is its partner for running a promotion (big deal...)they at BB/Chen do it on a company blog, not in private and what signal does that give ALL the telcos as customers (T-Mobile promotions bring money in, nothing BB is bringing money in (well enough money)
2 as BB removed its public consumer product BIS and now BB10 handsets are just iphones with a different OS its hypocritical to comment on the promotion. BB dug that grave for itself when with BB10 it offered the market nothing Apple don't in terms of service or product.
Apple phones are more streamlined, but many more manufacturers make better phones than BB, BIS was its selling point and consumers put up with less hardware for more security with BB. Now they are offered less in service/s to go with les better spec phones in the whole market.
3 Apple and T-Mobile are flourishing in the market because they give consumers and customers something the majority want, not the minority, do BB get that ?
("And for our loyal customers on the T-Mobile network, know that we have an offer in the works designed especially for you" Yeah great move Chen, Apple is going to pick sides with T-Mobile and slay you publically worse than T-Mobile, your behaviour has been nothing more than a bullying child having a hissy fit playing tit for tat.
T-Mobile ran a promotion based on BB change of products and OS and saw more sales for them in Apple than BB because you removed the one thing you had over EVERY other manufacturer...BIS. BB keeps on giving...spades to itself to keep digging.
Your bottom line - tweets of support are not bringing cash in, so ignore it all and do your job focussing on money not childish drama behaviour)
