Dear team,

I have problem sending an email with attachement. It says my attachment exceeds the maximum limit.

So does anyone know how to solve this. How maximum is your attachment size. I can receive an email with 6-8 MB, but I cannot send a big file to a friend. My memery still has abundant left.

i think it's around 3 MB the limit to send an attachment

I usually don't send any media(music or vid) but max for bbm is at 6mb. Not sure about email

I thought the max file size for email attachments both inbound and outbound is 2.9 mb. I know I've bumped up against that limit outbound but probably never tested the inbound limits so not sure about inbound.

Edit: Did a Google search for "BlackBerry maximum attachment size" and got tons of hits. Here's CB thread that says inbound size limit is 8 mb combined email and attachment size - http://forums.crackberry.com/f86/wha...ze-bis-316202/.
