I keep hearing that BlackBerry is more secure than other phones but I don't know what that means.

Please don't tell me about encryption, a lot of other phones offer that. Can anyone make a list in regards of secure features BlackBerry offers and others don't? What means more secure for me as an end user?

Don't get me wrong, I'm at the second BlackBerry phone in 3 months, got first Q10 and recently Passport and I just love them! ...and I was an Apple dye hard fan no long ago. So trust me I love BlackBerry

    All I need is clarity.

It's mostly based on reputation or if the user is on BES.

I don't think there are any Blackberry exclusive security features and after the NSA scandal, many Blackberry products like BBM are missing new security features added by competitors.

Though how well those security features are implemented on iMessage and company is frequently debated.

For an average user, it is knowing that your phone is safe from phishing apps, even if you click a link sent by a hacker.
