I am in charge of the weapons vault for a infantry company. Having my 9810 and PB makes things so much easier when we are on the go. I can edit and create all the lists and documents I need on the PB and email to whoever is bugging me for them through my BB.
Very convenient.

Main thing I'm using mine for is to support my side job which is Web development and IT support, having easy access to the various email accounts is a godsend, not to mention being able to set up a hotspot for my laptop while I'm out and about...

Only just switched back to a bb (9790) this week, been using an iphone up to this point for both work and personal but it wasn't cutting it for me. I found myself setting up the laptop to type long emails rather than using the phone but not having that issue now with the BB. Panicked a bit at first when I got it mind you as it didn't have the hotspot on there, update to 7.1 fixed that though thankfully

As for cases I've ordered a soft shell type for it, shouldn't see too much abuse in my line of work unless I decide to drop it!

I own a chimney company in NYC, we use bbm, bbtraffic, email. The camera on the phone along with the ability to use the pb to show the photos to customers helps alot. We have 2 playbooks that get used all day evernote, bluebox, looking at plans.
I don't keep a case on the phone, and it shows. The playbooks, 1 has a Targus case and the other has the BB portfolio cover.

So, I posted in this thread a few weeks back. I wake up every morning with a few new emails with new replies, I love reading them! However, do you really have to post a reply to every single reply, comment, and/or solicit people to post? Just going back 3 pages, you've posted like 12 times multiple messages that are nothing but question marks and other various symbols or "well??????????????????" and "anyone elseeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?". It distracts from the rest of the thread.

Build it and they will come, well, you've built it, now let people come.

Thank GOD they invented multi-quote... This many tabs would have for sure crashed my browser. Every time you post these, we get an email.

I use my BB & PB daily in my personal life from scheduling swim practices/meets PTA meetings doctors/ dentist appointmnets and sleep overs.
Professionally I use them for scheduling client meetings, move-ins and showings. In contacts I have all the company's vendors and contractors. I am able to group tenants and potential clients by property. With Citrix I am able to be away from work and still have access to info I may need in the field without having to ask for it to be emailed to me.

The BB in its barest form without a lot of apps, takes care of all my communication needs.
Well make that a BB a PB a backup seidio battery, magnetic swivel case and a set of standard blackberry earbuds.
When I leave home with these items in the morning I feel unstoppable.

worked as tier 2 on blackberry tech support for 2 years up until about 5 months ago... now working in a surveillance dept at a casino and honestly I think I use my berry more now.
