    Hi guys,

What if, considering Lenovo interest in a BlackBerry acquisition, there would be already an agreement to licence BB10 On the next Lenovo/Motorola devices, maybe with an agreement not to develop a Lenovo/Motorola qwerty device...

    Could it be possible?

It could be possible. Anything is possible. Probable is a different story, I think they would go with android...but honestly blackberry 10 on lenovo phones would work well as lenovo would want to have enterprise sales, and instead of competing blackberry could get the sales by licensing the OS. I think it would work well for both companies but not as likely to happen...

Without something like this happening BlackBerry will continue to struggle.

I really doubt Lenovo will abandon Android since they are doing quite well in certain markets already. It is a possibility but very unlikely. However, a BB10 device by motorola would be nice and Lenovo can take care of the Marketing as well.

I think that lenovo should try to partner with BlackBerry especially if it wants to fight against Apple and Samsung as they claimed.
Ios is a stand alone OS, while Android is present on all the other manufacturers' devices on the market. Where lenovo could be competitive against Samsung, LG, Sony etc etc? Moreover, how it could be, in terms of device costs? perception? Or what else? Then, they are interested in the Business sector, so what they want to do, to start a competition where in terms of security Samsung with Android is failing too with the Knox suite? Plus, if Lenovo wants to go and be present in China, they need to differentiate against Samsung, the leader, attracting chinese companies and government which in any case are basically involved in a continuous datagate fight against USA.
Last, with BB10 lenovo would have access at a 2 in 1 solution. A new OS, suitable to be naturally cross platform in all the products Lenovo is involved in. QNX is also used in servers and in the end BB10 is also eble to manage Android apps. 2 in 1.

In the end, it would be a win win solution. Blackberry is more involved in software now, but can continue to release high standard device suitable for people who wants to be productive, wants to differentiate and (let me tell you, sporting a BlackBerry I feel to be "cool" because I am not a sheep), while Lenovo/Motorola could go in many many devices, plus integration with other phisical products and be a base in China for BB.
I think they should really think about, otherwise I think Levovo/Motorola will only be a drop in the ocean.
    Bye

Lenovo is the Number 5 cellphone company in the world and in most markets doing better than LG. So working with Blackberry would be a real interest for both parties
