- Mike Lazaridis - is still very active in philanthropy and runs various different things.
- Jim Balsillie - Much the same, though, he's more visually active than Mike.

What's sad about it? I would love to live their 'sad' lives lol. They're rich older dudes who have done many great things and continue to do great things in different avenues of life. Just so happens those things have very little to do with BlackBerry, which seems quite fine by them.

Well, when Android Central absorbs Crackberry (one or two years) I hope you get a superb job at some high end tech site, you are such a good reporter than (at least for now) haven't abandoned the ship, I made this thread thinking in how life treats the old gladiators of their golden days (the CEO's in this case), BlackBerry itself, the writers of My old comics (Alan Moore for example....) and I think what Will be the outcome of today people, people on this site reminds me the people of My country, angry and sad at the same time because BlackBerry actions when before they did worse and we applauded them, how time change things.....

Couple of years ago doesn't count for what's been released by not only BB but other manufacturers as well. I doubt he's still on a 9900, but would be proven wrong.

Well I remember before the Priv was launched, when he was giving an interview and trying to show the phone to the reporter, he didn't know how to use it. And the Passport launch was rather disastrous from his standpoint.

i thought Mike was still involved in quantum computing (quarbit of some sort). Jim has more diversed interests... but no sports team... may be discovery of some old ship up north if my memory serve me right...(heard from radio i guess. i could be wrong). why OP miss them?

With the kind of money these two fellows made from the once mighty BlackBerry they and their families can do pretty much anything they want too however I did see that Mike gave a large sum of cash to the Stratford Festival and various places around Kitchener Waterloo area's.
