pretentiousness is one thing that irks me to no end.

did some searching. not sure if i'm right, but here it goes. and i hope this helps.
Reconcile emails is to sync them with the email account on the server. In otherwords if you delete on your Blackberry, you delete on Server. You can also pick which one wins. Blackberry or Server. I hope that helps you.

I agree 100%. Why not do a 20 second search? It could take 20 minutes on a forum (though its definately more likely to be 2 here :P).
Over on channel9, there's so much actually useful stuff in the forums, that when people post stupid questions, they get scolded quite badly. You've not been.. "scolded" per s�, just... directed.
It's a good habit to get into! Search before you ask.

I too wanted to know the answer. Amazing that there are twice as many posts arguing about whether the original poster should have searched for an answer first before posting, than actully giving any help.
Well that wgat happens, someone doesn't kno the answer and yet still wants the +1 post so they b!itch about the not searching.
I've saud it before, comin in the thread with no help or input on the matter and b!tchin is worse then not searching.

Here's my thoughts on the issue. I am glad the girl asked the question. It is something that I didn't know the answer to and would not have thought about it had she not asked. Since she did ask, several of us are now more informed and could answer this question if it comes up in the future. It's not like she asked about her call logs and txts being auto-deleted :rolleyes: Come on people, lighten up a bit.

This thread nearly demonstrates perfectly why I have stopped posting anything on these threads. There are 10 times more people who want to flash their e-peen and authority than actually be a proper support system. That guy with the "cool" search bar as his avatar is a ****, and I can't imagine he actually helps anyone at all. But I am glad this question was answered finally, as I came here looking as I accidentally hit it on my Storm and then *poof* all these emails I moved from my spam to inbox appeared. So I wanted to see what reconcile was all about. :cool:
