I would suggest a new battery. Most older people I know forget to remove their photos and videos from their devices once backed up to Google photos.

Although my devices are 64GB (S9 and BE KeyOne) I have never used 32GB in internal storage. I am a big fan of Google Photos and One Drive.
Eh, a 2016 S7 isn't worth the time, effort or money to revive in 2020.

Why not? If it's rootable, it can be done. Stock android is leagues better than what samsung stuffs on it (and it's associated bloatware).

Looks super easy to do. Probably wouldn't even cost so much and your momma will love the like new device.

Mostly marvel at how utterly wasteful this industry is. Dusted off my pristine Passport and it does everything a smartphone is intended to do 6 years after release. It still makes crystal clear calls, kicks but at email messaging, text messaging, reading Web pages and using CrackBerry. Battery is still wicked good. Clear, legible screen and reading news is great. Speakers and sound are as good as my S9. And camera in daylight and lit conditions is good. Swiping gestures still have not been duplicated. Even has WiFi calling on T-Mobile. Think I'll try a little experiment for the next week.
