    I don't have any os7 phones, but I have 2 qs, a classic and a passport and a key1. I use my key2 as my regular device.

What are some of the ways you all use your old handsets?

Found this app called haven I wanted to install and make key1 a security camera. One of my q10s stays in my backpack as a backup phone.

I recycle https://support.bell.ca/Mobility/Sma...d_mobile_phone and also locally my city has a need for working devices to give to the homeless at Victim Services. Even if they can only be used for a 911 call they are useful in that situation.

My Passport is getting framed and going on the wall when I do eventually have to stop using it and get something else. I owe so much to it for getting so much done with it.

I'm not sure how my wife will feel about it but I think I'll put my foot down on this one!

I still have the first two BlackBerry phones my wife and I bought. 2 Pearl 8100 phones - one red and one black.

She moved on to the iPhone 3G about a year and a half later while I kept my Pearl another year and a half. During that time, I used the red phone for parts - like when my trackball wore down too smooth to grip the rollers in the mechanism, or when the back cover broke and had to use the red back on my black phone.

Both went into bags in my junk box once I got the Torch 9800 in 2010. I came across them a few months ago.

The Torch was sold on eBay in early 2014, about 6 months after I got the Z10.

Still have the Z10. Using it for troubleshooting issues that pop up around here. It's not on a cell network - only wi-fi. But I do keep my outlook.com account on it as an EAS account, and Evernote.

Of the other phones we've had, the iPhone 3G was sold on eBay, as was a Galaxy S2, and an iPhone 4 with a shattered glass back.

We still have an iPhone 5C, a Galaxy S4 and two Galaxy S9s - both with cracked screens, but one still works and we're keeping as a "home" phone. The others are dust collectors on a shelf.

The GPS radio receiver will work just fine, but without some kind of data connection, you need to use apps with offline capabilities. There are Android apps, such as Pilot, where you can download the entire map for an area and use it offline just like a stand-alone GPS.
