Get a BlackBerry Bold 9900. The Bold 9900 is another step forward for RIM's higher-end handsets, particularly when it comes to the screen. The resolution has gone up to 640 x 480 and there's a touchscreen for the finger-friendly features of BlackBerry OS 7. Powering all this is a 1.2GHz processor, beefier than any previous Bold model. For those after new touchscreen features without sacrificing their keyboard, this would be a great choice.

If screen size is important to you, get the Torch 9810 - NOT the 9800, if overall awesomeness is important, the 9900 is your boy. If you are waiting for BB X, (and you should be ), go on kijiji (or whatever ) and buy one outright for low $. Then you won't be a contract prisoner. I just got a 9810 for my wife for $160.

Huh? You'll sure need to do some research on your own in terms of prices. Ebay prices will differ greatly. The Bold 9900 still is in a pretty premium pricerange new and off-contract here in germany and sells for well over 400,- . The Torch 9810 is a bit cheaper.

Depending on your money and actually what kind of phone you'd like to get you might also want to have a look at the Curve models. Those are surely cheaper built (all plastic), have slower hardware and lower resolution screens (especially the new 9320), but you'll get them new at half the price than a Bold 9900.

A mix between all of those would be the Bold 9790: which features only slightly worse hardware specs than both flagships, a touchscreen and is still cheaper to get. However still more expensive than those Curves.

Bold 9900/9930 is an awesome device. If price is an issue you might be able to get a slightly used one or a new Curve device.

I have a Bold 9930 so of course I would suggest that one, but I think you should do RESEARCH on what best suits your needs and wants.

Coming on here and asking which BB you should get without telling us your needs and price range will produce 6000 different answers (as you can see). You need to research and choose the one best for YOU.
