I have a 8320 Curve that I may be selling soon. It's locked to the Orange network in the UK. Appart from the obvious wiping all my files/contact/programs etc, what else do I need to do to it to enable someone else to be able to put their sim card in and get it to work? I appreciate that it will only be suitable for someone with an Orange sim card/data package.

I've read on here about "locked" PINs, does that only happen ifits reported stolen?

make sure that you go to your BIS page and make sure that the pin is no longer associated with your BIS account

Also if you plan on selling it to someone who is not on the orange network, make sure to call your service provider and have them unlock it.

I thought that I may have to do something like that. I don't think the BIS page works quite the same on orange. I have to go to blackberry.orange.co.uk, and I'm never sure what I have to put in, to log in. Would it be the device PIN number?

I don't think the service providers are as helpful over here. I can't see them doing that for me so I was just going to advertise it as suitable for use on Orange.
