    Hi all,

First timer here, so be patient if I'm asking a really 'Doh!' question.

What do the various envelope symbols mean to the left of the messages in the inboxes on my Bold. I know what the closed envelope and the open envelopes mean, but the open envelope with the righthand arrow?

Is there a list of all these symbols available. I've checked the BB site without joy.

    Thanks

Some mean SMS (text and media messages) other envelopes mean email inbox...voicemail will be the little tape symbol. So envelopes either mean sms text or an email. hope this helps...

I'm trying to find out the exact same thing. I think an envelope with a right-facing arrow means "this has been forwarded" but I'd love to get the definitive list of what all the symbols mean. Actually not just for SMS texts, but all the possible symbols that can pop up on any screen. Like the rectangular box with a diagonal row of blobs from bottom left to top right that pops up next to the speaker level icon when I'm on the phone. Is there a guide somewhere?
