What is the difference between the Wifi version and the 3G/4G version?

Will the 3G/4G version have its own calender/email/BBM app without need of a blackberry? Or is it just a version capable of going online with a seperate data plan?

I am quite confused on this, because if I don't have to sync a blackberry for the 3G/4G version to get all the extra features, I do not mind waiting the extra time.

My guess is the 3G/4G version will include native apps and its own BBPIN. Can't be certain as it hasn't been announced yet though.
