I have been using Plantronics 510 Voyager for a couple of years with different phones. It's the only one that worked in my environment, noisy, eliminating the background noise. The Jawbone's didn't even compare on the phones I have had prior to this one. Well, the 510's, I have three of them, are not jiving well with my 8130. I am borrowing a jawbone tonight to try it out but am curious as to what anyone has had luck with. I am trying to eliminate road noise for the most part. Up until now I have been fortunate, but don't know if the newer generation phones have surpassed my dinasour of a BT.

(BTW, I did by a new 510 to make sure it wasn't my other two.)

i used to have the jawbone 2 until i ran over it, haha. I am using the Plantronics Discovery 925, great headset. Much better clarity than the jawbone 2, and now that AT&T is selling it with a $30 mail in rebate it makes it more appealing to customers

Well, the Jawbone I borrowed sounds fine on 'their' end but is very quiet on my end and doesn't feel secure on my ear. A second 510 sounded fine and I heard it fine, I may have had one that just didn't jive wel with my BB. I tried the 520 but it carried too much road noise from the deisel and turbo. I just wasn't sure if there were software issues with newer and more advanced phones.

i have upgraded my Motorola HS850 ( >3 yrs and it's still working!)
i tried Jabra, Jawbone, Plantronics, Blue Ant and another generic one that i forgot the name.. but i came back using another Motorola...
my new one is the Flipping Brilliant Motorola HS 17 and it works great.. with noise cancellation. it's quite small and it won't drop from your ears..

yeah..i think up to 30 miles/hr the other person don't even notice the wind..
but if you go 60miles/hr and up.. the other party will notice but still the voice quality is clear.
and i have it on my right ear by the way..

you Flip it to turn it On or OFF before you put in your ear..
i personally don't want the bluetooth hanging on my ear unless i really have to.. like working on my car or if i'm doing something dirty that i don't want to touch the phone.

Anyway, with rapid connect from Motorola.. when the phone rings..i get the bluetooth from my pocket, flip it to open it.. and put it on my right ear.. and voila.. call is transferred.. just like that
