    BIS - BlackBerry Internet Service = email service provided by the respective carrier

    BES - BlackBerry Enterprise Server = email service provided by a server ran by a company.

    What is your question about it?

    BIS is more personal while using carrier server for email/data.

    BES is more company server/IT setup with more functions....

    I see you have an iPhone so I'm not to sure where your going with this.
