If it is BlackBerry ~ it has to be the Passport
If it is iOS ~ it is the iPhone SE
If it is Android ~ I'd be my HTC One M7

All rock solid, all metal and the most premium feeling devices, in my opinion.

Best ever? Have to say BlackBerry Passport hands down.

Best phone today? BlackBerry Keyone black edition and Oneplus phones. (3T, 5, 5T)

    Please refine the question.

    Available today? BlackBerry-branded?

If yes on both, you only have two to choose from - KEYᵒⁿᵉ and Motion. Keyboard versus slab.

My favourite phone of all time was my z10. I really should try to get it working again.

The best phone would be the silver passport.

The best BlackBerry 10 phones IMO has been Z30 and the Passport .
BlackBerry Android device KeyOne remains the best followed by the Motion.

Passport for sure. size, weight, stereo speakers, powerful headphone amp, so much perfect about it. nothing will ever compare hardware-wise.

the perfect piece of hardware, doomed by its software.

    Best BBOS - Storm 2
    Best BB10 - PP SE
Best Android - Pixel 2 series
Best BB Android - KeyOne (have not tried the Motion but it is essentially the same but a slab)
Best iPhone - None (every time I try one, it last about 1-2 days, including ipads, before I toss it aside and forget what password i set on it later when i try again some time later)

    BB10 Z30 (speaker, para antenna)
9982 and 9983 (not for the price...but the design).

    2. Original iPhone, because it blew my mind at the time.
    3. The banana-sized Nokia I got back in the mid 90's because it was amazing to be able to talk from anywhere. I would call people just to tell them I was calling from a cell phone! haha.. how times have changed and that's all so mundane now.

Nah, the software is great ~ doomed by "app hoggers" more appropriately.

An OS is only as useful as the software available for it. Y/ou try to blame customers for shunning something that didn’t meet their needs, as if you know what people need better than they do.
