    Like s7ar Scr3am - don't currently have any set up but there's some good ideas in this thread so thanks for it. Funnily enough, I was thinking today about setting one up for my email address.

    bld = [ B ]
    bld1 = [ /B]
    img = [ img ]
    img1 = [ /img ]

    That is just a few
    Why not just set up bld = [ B ] [ /B] ? Then just use the trackball to scroll back to the middle and start typing. Might save a little extra time.

    because then u have to use the symbols key. whereas the bld is the keyboard

    What? No you don't. You type bld and you get [ B] [ /B]. No symbol key involved.

    Only have two so far as I only started using this feature this week and both were at the suggestion of CB members:

    "Sig1" for my first e-mail signature which is my business signature complete with address/tel/fax/e-mail addy and

    "Sig2" for my regular e-mail signature

    Since you have to press SPACE before typing "nSPACE", you're still using the same number of keystrokes to create the character. I don't really see the benefit of this one.

    I prefer not dealing with the ALT key when possible - might just be my quirk. I have the ! mark in my set, also.

    This thread gave me a brilliant idea yesterday. I set up 'jobapp' as a standard job application letter so that if I'm out and hear about a job, I can ask for the email address, type up a covering letter quickly, attach my CV/Resume (which is already on my berry) and fire it off.

    I'd like to see more of what others are doing. These autotext shortcuts are a big help. Some of mine:

    I have autotexts for all times of the day in 30 minute increments such that 1230 = 12:30, etc.

    I have autotext shortcuts for all days of the week and months.

    I have autotexts shortcuts for my full name, my email Address and home address.

    Ui = I'd (to eliminate confusion with "if").

    Se = see (to avoid confusion with "are").

    W = $ (eliminates one keyboard switch when entering a dollar amount).

    Hbd = Happy Birthday

    Ily = I love you

    I have others but those are the best. There must be other good ideas out there???

    Exactly what the title states. Just hoping to pickup some good shortcuts on this. So what autotext does everyone have setup?

    I don't have very many. I hate when words that need conjuctions don't have conjuctions. So when I type "its" and it needs a conjuction, it won't come out. Obviously because "its" fits in the context of a certain sentence. So instead I setup "itz" and auto goes "it's." (I know, I'm obsessed)

    itz = it's

    weree = we're

    ure = you're

    ur = your

    nwo = n.W.o. (inside joke)

    illl = I'll

    Just to name a few. Then of course I have symbols setup for BBM.
    Your autexts shoud have been manually set for contractions. "It's vs its" is a good one. Whenever you type a word that automatically puts in the apostrophy, hit backspace tothe last letter, it'll automatically remove te apostrophy and keep it gone.

    Thanks for this cool idea
