- well, its all about the should I, right now I can upgrade to a new phone. And I'm trying to decide... Should I continue to WAIT for ATT to git off their arses and release a BB Bold... or should I get one of the current BBs ATT has?
Whats your guys thoughts? I'd like some ^.^ Cuz continueing to use this Motorolo go phone is driving me inzane... (Oh and I don't have to pay for new phone, my dad will cover it YAY)10-10-08 04:37 PMLike 0 - Just wait for the Bold. I have an unlocked one running on AT&T and it'll be worth the wait. If you get a curve or something and then when the Bold comes out, you're gonna want to toss them for the Bold. Also, don't be upset with AT&T for the delay in the Bold release. I'm pretty sure they want to release this phone asap, but RIM needs to get it right. That is why some carriers around the world have stopped selling Bolds because of issues. We should be glad that AT&T didn't release a phone with issues. Would you rather them release it and then you keep calling customer service and getting pissed off because it's not working correct? Or would you rather wait a little longer for it to work correctly? I guess they are damned if they do and damned if they don't huh?10-10-08 09:47 PMLike 0
- After using a Moto Razer, I wouldn't care, quality would probably be a whole lot better than the rejects ATT stuffs in the Go Phone plastic clamshells.10-11-08 09:22 AMLike 0

Howdy John,
I think AT&T and the other carriers learned their lessons from the Razor craze. Everyone wanted one, everyone had to have one, just about everyone that got one, got several (exchanged over and over and over). I know several people that have and like the Razor phones, but even the ones that baby their phones, broken them, had speaker problems, got cracked LCD screens closing them, the list goes on and on, and this was in the first 90 days of buying the things.
Never owned a Razor myself, due to the everyone that had gotten several, before getting one that didn't die in some fashion during the first few weeks of owning it.
So let the carriers that are being smart with a not exactly cheapo phone, wait for the issues to be worked out.10-11-08 11:49 AMLike 0 -
- I thought about and how have I drooled over it, but how can I fork over 800 smackers when I hardly make $300s a month.10-11-08 02:05 PMLike 0
- I have a razr V3 that I had for two years before work picked up Curves for our staff. I never once had an issue with any of the stuff you guys are talking about and I was NOT gentle with it. The phone was subjected to wet weather, heat, cold, been dropped on concrete and never did it ever fail me. Not all of the razr's were bad units. I eventually handed it to my wife because it was my personal phone and she wanted to try it before we put it in the drawer since I had such good success with it. It is not scratched up and I kept it clean. Other than that it was put through the paces.10-11-08 02:51 PMLike 0
- Yup yup I agree with this. The Razr wasn't all that bad in my opinion, but it was just too....commercial? Everyone you saw had one at one point. Its incredible what a phone could do to people.
Go for a Curve if you can't stand waiting, you won't regret it. I have one and I've loved it since day 1. If you can stand the wait, then get a Bold.
Good luck on your decisions.

- Wait and get the one you want. I really like my curve, but when my carrier finally releases a 3g BlackBerry I'm gonna get it. If you use up your upgrade on a device to just get one, you'll be unhappy later. So wait for what you want
.
And good for you to ignore the cranky people
