hey
i am a BB Pearl 8100. I was on Rogers Wireless back home and am now on o2 in the UK. I have unlimited internet browsing on o2 but can't seem to open up a web browser. The default Rogers browser won't let me access anything.

How can I change that?

Do you have a data connection>? if you go to options/mobile network. does it show your actually registered? what happens when you attempt to browse the web.

ya it says i am on "o2 - uk"

data services are "on"
and network selection mode is: automatic.

When i try and get on the "rogers" logo appears on the screen and looks like its loading but then it just stays on that screen and nothing happens.

then a message that says

"unable to open a PDP context to the following APN:

wap.o2.co.uk

This may be happening because the currently selected browser configuration is not compatible with the current network.

oh. well thats the correct apn. if you go to the browser than options. general options. what is the default browser selected?

o2 active secure is listed as both

default browser configuration and default WAP browser configuration.

Do you have a specific BlackBerry Data Plan as opposed to a generic data plan?

it is not a blackberry data plan. generic mobile browsing.
