Google won't allow dual-boot, but they don't insist on a locked bootloader.

what s slightly more worrying is the current state of the economy. If we launch something on kickstarter might no be as straight forward. But this will take months anyway so touching wood! Meanwhile thank you very much to all of you. Hopefully we wont let you down, and we ll manage to go thru all these hurdles.

If you can produce a phone with a keyboard like the classic, I would probably buy it. if by some miracle you manage to get a quasi functioning bb10 os on it, I would definitely buy it and I would be willing to pay a monthly subscription fee. I hate my key2 and android sucks

Pretty much anything but full Google Android is a non-starter.

Unlocked bootrom with support for other Linux based OS, or OOTB multi-boot support... would be a plus. Maybe if they cloned the hardware used in the Cosmo2 of Fxtec Pro2 - allowing for software support to be shared with other devices, would expand the userbase.

Heck if it would run Windows, even that would be a plus...

License the BBL keyboard (someone mentioned old Bold keyboards might be kicking around) and update ART on BB10 (if possible) would be nice, but we're probably looking at a BBL keyboard with some form of Android.
