This sounds a little strange but what do yall think of waxing the top black plastic part of my tour. Over the years it got a little scratched up there, nothing bad. I was wondering if waxing that part with automotive wax was a good idea. I know some people use it to restore plastic.

Try a Brazilian wax, that would do just fine

    Seriously?

I'd try a small spot and see how it does.

If the hair grows back you might want to try it again.

You're probably better off with plastic polish or headlight lens polish. I've used it on my 9000 and 9700 and a friend's Pearl with pretty good results. If the scratch is too deep, you're better off replacing the part if it's available.
