Its 12:46 am on 1/12, I tried it but it said it was unable to activate...I assume I am on an applicable price plan...I have 3 smartphoneson my plan and mine is on nationwide unlimited everything...I'm currently just north of Tulsa, but will be back in home area in a day or two, don't know if that matters? What do I need to do?

I'm pretty sure you need to be in your home area for Verizon *228 to work, unless there's something different related to the merger.

I read on Viigo that VZW said they would take their time integrating Alltel, and for now all the My Circle people would keep their current plans. Here is hoping all goes smoothly for you guys. And welcome to "the Network."

I tried to use *228 this morn wudn go thru. Additionally I have tried sev times over the last month to update and hav been unable. I hav tried in both home and other areas. I'm on alltel, anyone hav any knowledge?

Could it be the GSM and My Circle people can not update yet? Might want to try asking in the Alltel Forum and hopefully an Alltel tech will see it. But of hand that would be my guess. Also you might want to directly contact Alltel support. It is certainly still in place.

My step daughter has a phone with her dad's alltel account. We have an old LG razer type phone she loves, we are on Verizon. Could she now switch to that phone?

it may be a little soon for her to be able to activate that phone i don't think that they have had any time to bring the two systems together the best thing to do is call their CS.
