too bad im a T'mobile/EE guy in London.As I read about the launch ''shortly after available'' I looked at the calender 30th is on a wednesday and this early pre order stuff.Im thinking this phone will drop on a friday,saturday which is 1st,2nd.

Yeah... sounds like it to me.

The bit about "[Vodafone UK] will advise on further pricing and availability details after the BlackBerry 10 launch event" doesn't imply (to me) that they have boxes ready to sell on 30th Jan.

It'll be the same kind of "launch" as RIM themselves are doing on that day... Roll up, roll up.... come and see my shiny pretty things... they're available to buy "soon".
