    Can someone tell me what these apps are?

    What is visual voicemail?
    What is Youmail?
    What do they do?
    How do they work together?

    I'm sorry I didn't search just sounds kind of curious.

    Visual Voicemail puts the messages on your screen in a list. You can then listen to messages in any order without having to "call" your VM.

    Youmail uses a internet site to redirect your VM messages to them. You then retreive them in a similiar fashion. YM also has a option to have your messages "transcribed" into text. Several other options as well.

    YM=Free
    VVM=Pay (2.99/month)

    I like VVM better personally!

    But I can see who called me in my call log and also see VM I mean maybe not a 100% sure who from, but miss call then VM, lil later miss call VM

    So do you need both or are they sand alone apps?

    You don't need either.

    VVM is just a nice feature for me, you can "look" through your messages rather than skip through them.

    I used YouMail for a day and was not impressed with it. Not too mention your VM's are now going over the internet subjecting them to hackers.

    I'm sorry, never even looked @ your provider. VVM for $2.99/mo is through VZW. Not sure what the cost will be through sprint/nextel. Most likely will be the same or +/- $1.00.

    For VVM it would have to be through your Application Center. Not sure if it is offered.

    If not You Mail is a viable option!
