And crappie android ports too like tango etc. I remember asking tango a year or so ago. In fact people also suggested that they port the android version and they didn't have the time of day for BlackBerry users even for a quick and dirty port.

Lol all these one off companies are clearly shaking in their boots now that BBM has gone cross platform with voice and soon to be video. These people were arrogant dicks when people would ask them about bringing their app throughout the last year. They don't deserve a single download.

Whether we like it or not, millions of people use Viber and Whatsapp. We may try to "convert" them to BBM, but the majority will not follow.
So, it'd be great if we could have a native BB10 app..

Well for one I'm happy that Viber intends to make an app for BB10. It has millions of users, so there is definitely a benefit of having it available.

Good chance we see an android port with some integration to the hub, similar to Skype. I still have my finger crossed that they put in some extra effort and bring a native app.

I too have a feeling this will be an Android port. If that is truly the case, I will not be using it. WhatsApp and BBM are good enough and there is no void to be filled. But if they do bring out a native app, I will download it to support the platform.
