What is the point of having a physical keyboard if the keys are flat?

what would be cool, if they were REAL buttons, like the Q10, but the insides were lit. so you can change the keyboard to a different language, symbols, etc...

similar to the Nissan Juke Climate/ D-Mode control buttons that change

I like the screen-size. Capacitive keyboard, not so much.

As much as I don't like it for myself, if it's gimmicky enough to get outsiders to buy it, I say make it and market the heck out of it. Then use the profits to perfect the actual good BB phones we want to see...

Jeez no wonder legacy BlackBerry users aren't upgrading, if for a BlackBerry to be worthy of upgrading to it has to have been personally excreted from from the **** of the king of physical Qwerty himself Mike Lazaridis.

It has nothing to do with who made it or how anything was done in the past. It's a simple matter of efficiency. I've explained many times why needing to swipe just to see the symbols in the first place will be slower and require more thought process while typing than simply having the symbols always visible on the keyboard and allowing you to press alt with one thumb while typing the appropriate key with the other... This concept is simply trying to make it seem more "innovative" or better yet, "it's better because it's newer" gimmick. It'll be like replacing a steering wheel with a touchscreen. Is it newer technology? Yes, is it actually better and faster? You go ahead and answer that...
