After I use wifi say for facebook and then lose wifi the app will tell me to get a data plan or wifi again. But when I do get wifi again the app still asks me to get wifi or a data plan.

Have to do a battery pull to fix this.

Anyway to fix this?

I also get wi-fi drops all the time, it's gettin' rather annoying now. The router and modem is fine, considering the network never drops on any of the laptops. I'm using a Bold 9900.

I'm gonna wipe my phone and see how it goes. Maybe you should do the same, OP.
