Once again, by upgrading to the Blackberry from an i580, I seem to have lost the ability to use the Nextel Direct Connect over one of my cars stereo. Previously (with the i580) phone calls and direct connect went directly through the car stereo speakers.

With the 8350i, if I try and use the DC while in the car, it does not come through the speakers, and I can't even use the phone itself to DC.

Is there a setting to enable DC through the car bluetooth?

Yeah...I was already searching and reading those threads while you were responding...

Again, it looks like I'm SOL on a feature that I REALLY liked when I had the 580. It's so weird that we lost the ability to Bluetooth the DC in our cars...Maybe enough e-mails to Dan Hesse will have them include a 'fix' in the next firmware?

I think complaining to Sprint may be the wrong tact. Sprint is merely the provider not the device manufacturer. A message to RIM would likely prove more fruitful.
