    someone stole my blackberry last night. does anyone know if I can somehow use the GPS to find out where it is? of course, AT&T is of no help with this type of thing.

    I am not sure how after the fact of how you can do that, but I know that 3rd party apps are out there to allwo you to do that

    did you try checking your call log via the website to see who the person was calling if they are still using you number?

    there is a web site (meant for parents) that allows you to enter the number, it sends a text and then you can watch where that person is via Google Maps. Saw it on CNN.

    I am sorry to hear about your phone. The most important thing to do is to report the phone stolen to your provider and have them disable your account so no charges can be applied to it.

    If you have your IMEI number somewhere, its usually a 15 digit number, the service provider can use this number to block your handset and render it useless, even if the thief changes the SIM card and tries to use it on another carrier.
