I live in Ecuador and I friend and I were talking about buying BB's from Amazon to use here (plan free...) as basically the storm is $1400 here meanwhile its more than half the price on Amazon sim free... problem is someone said that you cant use the pin if you buy the phone in another country is this true?

any information would be great...
