    Is there any kind of app or setting to use my BB as a wifi gateway/modem? My internet service is no good lately and I would like to use my phone as another means of connecting since I have unlimited data

    Not WiFi. Your device doesn't have the necessary hardware.

    But you can tether your BlackBerry to your computer with the USB cable or via Bluetooth if your carrier supports tethering on your plan.
