    i was curious to know do you have to subcribe to a data plan to use bb mesenger? when i send a pin request to someone i know with a bb pearl they never get it but they do not have a data plan............ is that why they dont get the request?

    You need to have a data plan since BB Messenger goes through RIM's network.
