I consider DST to be the problem. It is an antiquated idea and irrelevant in the modern world of electric lights and night vision, etc... Pick one time or the other and leave it alone...
In terms of the Apple products and how they play with DST, well that shouldn't happen, but then again, they're made by humans, just like BB and other devices. No such human made device will ever be perfect.
^ there are states that don't FOLLOW the DST adjustments.. like Arizona and Hawaii. so there's always a choice.
either move that clock an hour ahead or move to Arizona LOL!
@ Sandman_454 don't get me started with the "antiquated" things... Metric System anyone.. as far as i know, the whole World adapted to it except US, we tried during the 70's but i guess Americans are not that used to change.. oh well!

I'm still changing the time on various devices for about a week after DST changes. I wish they would just abandon DST altogether, given all the devices I've got to tend to. It's a royal PITA.

Agreed!
I have way to many things, watches, etc to change.
No issues here either. The phone is set to update automatically based on network time. If there's an issue, it could be with your carrier as well.
I guess, take your pick... have the possibility of the DST time change not happen on the dot (iPhone) or spend the rest of the year not receiving full emails (Blackberry).
just do a google search for ( iphone + dst + clock not updating) will get you a vast number of complaints from a lot of users with different carriers, not just in the US but even in CA
there are more than a handful of blogs and threads about it as well.
and let's not forget the New Year's Day issue..
so to point the blame to the carrier is, i don't know the word.. in denial?
or is it another case of " you're holding the phone in a wrong way kind of thing"?

Yep, alarm went off at 6:00 instead of 7:00 this morning, even after deleting the alarm profile and re-entering it yesterday. Better early than late I guess...lol!
The words I heard tonight were "my f*&&ing iPhone alarm f*&%ing went off an hour early today!" followed by "I can't believe they still haven't fixed that," followed by "I might get something else next time." LOL! Someone wasn't happy about waking up an hour early.
