Hi there, i have some GPS apps on my computer but i dont have a USB or Bluetooth GPS. I do however have the storm. Is there anyway to get it to be the GPS device for my laptop?
I looked around for this because I was wondering the same thing, but the answer seems, as of now, no. If you're looking to specifically tether you bb to your laptop to use a GPS device I wouldn't ever expect to find a solution.
Unless you can write an application that takes the GPS information on your phone and outputs NMEA sentences and possibly transfer them to some app (you probably would have to write) on your PC. But having your phone actually act as a device without some crazy work around doesn't seem feasible.
