So I currently have a pearl 8110 and I kind of hate thIs phone, but I have come to love everything about BBs. I wanna upgrade to a full size BB but I don't know what to do. I was thinking either a curve or bold (wish AT&T had the storm) but I don't really know the differences between the two. I use my phone as a text machine but also enjoy the minor media functions and web browsing the 8110 offers me. If I do upgrade what can I expect from the curve and the bold? I'm still a student so business functions don't really matter to me.

I would go for the bold hands down. It is faster way better browser, and so nice to type on over any curve..

I would go for the Bold as well. But if the funcionality and speed of the Pearl is ok for you and you'd rather have a full keyboard, then you'd probably be satisfied with a Curve.
