A lot of people are talking about nextgen Blackberries regarding touchscreen, trackpad, and/or QWERTY keyboards. I'm sure those are in the works and that's more of personal preference. But I haven't seen talk about actual Blackberry processor and memory hardware.

The recent increase in memory size is great, but what about processor speeds? Apple upped their processor going from the iphone 3G to the 3GS, so RIM should be able to do the same. I'd love to have faster loading of the device and of apps, or able to efficiently multitask, or have a Tegra graphics chip for some awesome visuals and graphical interface.

Does anyone know of any plans to improve the processor and other hardware components?

I would love to see that. Hopefully that actually translates to better loadup times. Cause im tired of doing a battery pull and waiting ten min on 4.7, or just 2 min less on 5.0.
