Has anyone upgraded from an LG VX8300 to a BlackBerry?

My dad really wants a Blackberry but he absolutely LOVES the battery life in his LG. After seeing how my battery doesnt stand up to his, he wont get the Blackberry now.

What can I tell him to get him to change his mind?

What are some cool features to any type of blackberry a 50 yr old would like?

He could always buy one of those extended batterys! Tell him that. I think Seido makes them.

I agree, just have him get an extended battery. I had an Env2 and that battery lasted forever, but would never go back after getting my BB!

Did this exact upgrade for my wife almost two weeks ago. Can't believe we waited this long. There is no going back.
