I updated my BB OS yesterday and noticed all my apps where not there (apps that ship with BB) like memo pad etc.

Now I heard that you can add them back via DM, is this the normal way to do it or should they have added back when I upgraded?

I don't understand why that is happening, you would think previously installed applications would be updated correctly.

Applications Loader can be run at any time to install or remove components.

Hmm not sure either what I did was backup my data first, then used loader.exe to update the OS.

When that process finished all the factory shipped apps such as memopad etc where gone.

SO my question is can I definately add then back via Application Loader or is there something else I must do?
