Welcome to the forums! Try a virtualization solution. I hear Bootcamp is very good.

You need Windows for this. No ways around it.

... Although I think it may be possible to use Mac's version of sachesi to extract everything from the autoloader and thenload the files into yout device. Worth a shot but I am not responsible for bricks.

If I update to 10.2.1 from 10.1, will WiFi calling still work for T-mobile USA?

No! (Im assuming you would like to update, not downgrade)

Download Sachesi Mac version. Then open it once download is complete. Click the search tab and select the country code and carrier you want to download. I used Vodafone UK which is country 234 and carrier code 015. Because I use a Z10, I chose the device Z10 and the variant STL100-2 ( my device is a 3, but the 2 works fine). Click the search button and it will find the official 10.2.

Once Sachesi finds the official, click the download button and let it do its work.

Plug your phone into your computer and let it be recognized and mapped.

Once that is done, click the install tab on Sachesi, then drag and drop the 10.2 folder into the install window. It will install and is non destructive. Always good to do a back up first.

I'd you have an STL 100-1 device, your device and variant download must be for that device only. The STL 100-2,3, or 4 can use the se download.
