Ugh! Again looking like no Verizon? This is so frustrating.
You don't want to be looking at the PTCRB for CDMA carriers. You'll have to wait until an announcement is made by BB and/or Verizon.

Yes. If you look at the PTCRB's list of certified products, existing CDMA BBs aren't there. Not even BB10 phones.

Man, after the AT&T/Sprint Z30s, and the Verizon Passport, I would trust nothing less.

But I guess an FCC filing would be trustworthy now. BB would have learned their lesson from the Sprint Z30 fiasco.

I've read that CDMA certifications usually follow gsm certifications. True? What's the gap between the two?

The only indication would be FCC approval certification. As of right now there are none. Maybe someone else can shed some light on this, but previous phones from blackberry that went to VZW had their FCC approvals later on vs. their GSM counterparts. So there's still hope.

Band 12 in both of them! I would think -1 is the AT&T variant, while the -3 is NA. Nice to see carrier aggregation documented as well (the first BB with it, IIRC?)

As they appear, neither one can be the Sprint variant: no LTE bands 26, 41 and no CDMA. Very slim chance (especially if the launch is slated for 2015) that -3 could be Verizon-bound. Their plan was to go all-LTE starting 2016.
Yes vzw is going LTE soon but CDMA will be supported all the the way to 2022 at the very least. There's no reason not to come out with a CDMA based phone when Verizon has guaranteed this. Many new products are still coming out for CDMA based Verizon

This is what I recall as well that CDMA was weeks after the GSM phones cleared. Time will tell.

By the end of 2016 is when they will introduce LTE-only phones and stop selling new CDMA phone models nationwide. Assuming there are no more changes to this timeline, they will keep the CDMA around but it will only be for people who haven't upgraded to voLTE capable phones.

GCF now listed the Euro Priv:

Global Certification Forum - All Certified Devices - Priv by BlackBerry - STV100-4

Nothing we don't already know though.

Interesting enough, GCF lists the Verizon Classic only (variants SQC100-3 and SQC100-5).

Probably a typo--meant to say SQR100-3, but pressed the E key (which is right next to R) instead.

They both have same model number, so that's not a no camera version. Probably different revision of the model?
