Any more images from where that one came from? :)
Interesting camera/flash design there.
Certainly matches this:

Any news on Venice?

If the rumors are true, we'd need a new OS image type, I think. Maybe in 10.3.3.
Anyway, I'm still looking for any confirmation that the Dallas is or is not the SQW100-4. If it is, then it's probably going to T-Mobile, since there's already enough GSM Passports for carriers that have them already.
This just in, the Dallas is the SQW100-4. I know a guy.
So it's got round corners, North America bands and a FCC certification already.
I'm still guessing T-Mobile.

You're right. I was going through some files, found that Windermere4row and Dallas both have same R number (R164) assigned to them. So, I'm assuming the codename for that device was Dallas before and for whatever reason they have changed it to Windermere4row. Might be the case for Windermere2row as well, I think it was Oslo before.

The Venice is sounding like what this company needs!

Whoa...if this is a TMO Passport, this quick turnaround from design--approval (TMO)--manufacturing--approval (FCC) is kind of unprecedented, right?
And I may have missed this, but why a new Passport for TMO when either the -1 or -3 will do? Band 12?
This is all assuming the S&PI in 2204 is final, but I'm going with the idea that this idea was cooked up while Chen and Legere were skipping through a field together.
Besides, the only difference between this and the SQW100-3 is the casing, so there's not much new to send the FCC.

I wonder if this is going to T-Mobile exclusive, why this is going to release to other countries too

I'm hoping it somehow some way comes to Verizon. I cannot deal with every Verizon device being dual core 1.5/1.7 GHz. We NEED a high end device.

Ah, wasn't sure, thanks.

I just realized this:
This new device, the Dallas, cannot be released as the Passport, due to AT&T's exclusivity deal. So, it's probably coming to T-Mobile, but with a different name, despite its model being SQW100-3 (Passport family). Hopefully they can do the same with the SQW100-2 and put it on Verizon.
I'm getting desperate lol.

I see so they will call it different lol

2252 is out, still nothing new. SQW100-4 still only for North America. No new devices.
Bummer, waiting for the next leak already

On the other hand, it seems to fix the light sensor issues that 2204 brought up.
Wondering why the 10.3.2 gold SDK OS isn't out yet; probably with the 22xx/23xx series.
On the investors call this morning, Chen confirmed that T-Mobile will be getting the Passport. He didn't mention which model though but this can very possibly be it.

Good, I can get WiFi calling back.
Only thing missing from being on T-Mobile.
