Do you mean BlackBerry's financial quarters or calendar quarters?
Posted via CB10
I'm going to assume Calendar Quarters since they are announcing second quarter fiscal 2015 Next Friday lol
I wonder if the V series will launch with 10.4?

Whatever phone they come out with after Passport/Classic.
It's safe to assume it'll be 10.4 since the launch of every major BlackBerry phone coincided with a new OS release.
The full touch is apparently geared towards the consumer market, so I can't wait :)

What full touch?

I'm thinking he means the speculated (and never before seen) 'Z50'

That's the one.

I think Chen's strategy which he alluded to in an interview a few months ago is that they plan to focus on devices with hardware keyboards because it's the unique defining feature of any Blackberry that is instantly recognizable to the average consumer, and the main differentiating feature compared to iPhone/Android.
The hybrid phone V series is probably Blackberry's answer to the iPhone 6 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy, it's a large 16:9 display phone but it also has a hardware keyboard in reinforcement.
So what happened to the SQW100-2 guys?
At the moment, limbo.
Other Passport variants are probably dead, though; the Blend white list only includes SQW100-1 and 2 among Passport variants.

Interesting info, Thurask. Perhaps that user that said a customer service rep saw a Verizon branded Passport was true?
I'm crossing my fingers.
All quiet on the FCC front.
Not sure if talk of AT&T exclusivity is permanent (like the Z30 in America) or just temporary (like the Passport up here).

Seems the SQW100-1 is offered both in NA and EU, which is good news, except that BB does not offer global support.
FD-LTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 20 (2100/1900/1800/1700/850/2600/900/700/700/800 MHz)
HSPA+ 1, 2, 4, 5/6, 8 (2100/1900/1700/850/900 MHz)
Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)
So any GSM carrier carrying the Passport gets the EMEA model, then. WindermereNA is dead.
I'm still wondering just what the heck a Wichita is supposed to be in this situation.
If that's the case... I am now undecided between the Classic and this mystical V-series.
New SDK, no OS...
Pretty sad if you ask me..
It could show up in the next leaks after 10.3.1

Wichita has got its own set of settings now (previously WindermereWichita), so it's either the modified Passport with the sliding keyboard or the Z50 with Passport internals...
And it's a dev model
Looking forward to learn from you everything possible about that ;-)
Kansas!
Fingers crossed it'll keep being tested

Classic has a slimport like the Passport instead of a HDMI port.
Is it still marked as no HDMI in the startup script?

Thurask, ofutur, do either of you guys know the answer to this:
