See you in the other thread; I'm intrigued as to where the system reports the SoC.
Perhaps like the 'boot time bug', the OS is reporting the info incorrectly?
No, the OS is reporting the info correctly, but marketing only knows of S4 Pro. I'll post now in the other thread.

The Z30 is identifying it's chip using the EV-DO revision; all MSM8960 SoC's have EV-DO rev. A/B (doesn't relate to the actual model number).

The OS identifies the chip as MSM8960AB and so does the hardware when you query it. A Z10 or a Q10 will give you MSM8960, a Tigris device MSM8974.

    I don't see a DT, do you?

I've seen some Qualcomm tools have an extra "8960 Pro" entry, on top of 8960AB, so I'll check on a real Z30 (as opposed to a X00) to see what it reports. It's probably the family. I'll stick to my theory that 8960AB + MoGoogle chips = 8960DT.

    Ok, smarty pants...

    ... the MSM8960DT has a quad-core Adreno 320 (it's the only MSM8960 in the S4Pro family that does)...
Says who? On top of that the cores are not totally independent.

...why would BlackBerry state the Z30 has a quad-core gpu if it's only using the AB version? They wouldn't.
Yes, they would, because the AB version apparently has the quad-core version of the Adreno 320, according to BlackBerry's press release about the Z30.

...Also, why would Qualcomm list the DT in currently available SoC's if it's only for the Moto X? They wouldn't...
Where is this famous list? I'm still waiting for your Qualcomm documents btw.

The BlackBerry BB10 phones only list the generic model number for the family, not the full SoC model number.

Same thing when I query my Galaxy Nexus, it gives the generic family.
Sure, if you ask BB10 to give you the answer via its UI, but not when you query QNX via config and info files.

That's from a Z10 and I'm still waiting for someone to do the same on a retail Z30...

It was brought to my attention that I may be wrong about the Q5 and it's true that I didn't spend much time on it when I started this list and I was only beginning my exploration, so after digging through my notes, I went through the OS again to try and find the answer.
Sure enough, the Q5 is an underclocked version of the Q10, as reported by a few blogs. Other blogs are still listing it as using a Snapdragon 400, so does Qualcomm...

A friend also helped me confirm it from a real device. Thanks Adam!

When you're 83 years old, like me, you sometimes need the help of an electronic device in order to hear properly. Some TV programs or radio shows can connect directly to this device in order to give the listener a better experience.
I'm sure this will make some people very happy.

Hey oftur is there any indication of what file systems the 10.2.1(the z30's os?) supports - is it only fat32 or is exfat and ntfs supported? Doesn't make much of a difference if it's for the sd but I'm thinking in terms of usb otg?

Would be nice if they can make AQ happens. It's a s4 specs camera and with ac Internet bandwidth.
Maybe 10.3 to support Quad core and 64 bits. Best of best. That would sell.

But cancelled. Z 30 should have Aq specs imho

I read with so much z10 in warehouse. Just sell them cheap. Get more users in developing countries. No need for kopi specs. But I'm sure they already knew.

O and W were added a while back, in September I think.

Latest info I found is confusing... Windermere seems to have a 1440x1440 screen resolution or an area of that size for the keyboard is they go dual screen.

The Kopi is still set for release? I thought it was a Q5, but just with a removable battery and a little faster processor

I'm also surprised to still see progress and testing on Kopi... Especially if they've delayed the release of the device...
