Perhaps BlackBerry got the naming system wrong in the first place (or revised it) and the models are now as follows:
    Touch
    High End - Z30
Mid End - Z10 (has hdmi unlike Q5, but no Miracast)
    Low End - Cafe
    Keyboard
High End - Q10 (equivalent build to Z30 with amoled and glass weave?)
Mid End - Q5 (equivalent build to Z10?)
Low End - Kopi (somehow even cheaper than Q5?)

I know there a inconsistencies (resulting from changes during rollout), but this may be the 6 models spoken of.

    To generalize the "levels'" feautres:
High End - AMOLED, expensive build; Glass Weave, Bold Style Keyboard
Mid End - LCD, decent Build
Low End - LCD, cheapest build

I would say the Q10 would be on the same level as the Z10. So that means we're still waiting on a high end qwerty.

So we haven't learned anything new today, except for the fact that the altimeter is not enabled in the Z30...

And since they seem so proud of their Paratek Antenna, it could be a reason for the relaunch of the Q5 along with a touch version. I'm wondering if they'll go Q6/Z6 or keep the Q5 name. After all it was only supposed to get released in a few countries...

So is there an FM radio and Miracast available?

    In which device?

New cheap qwertys (Kopi) are going through certifications now.

Apart from the alien which is the Z10, all 2013 phones have an FM radio receiver.
Same for Miracast, except that there isn't much info on Caf's audio profiles yet...

I still don't understand why they have landscape and portait audio profiles for each OUT. Maybe to pilot noise cancellation?

Yes, they all have the same Broadcom chip, but that doesn't mean it can be used. BlackBerry needs to expose the hardware to developers.

Aha. Thanks for clarifying. Wonder why BlackBerry chose Broadcom over Atheros?

Maybe because of their roadmap. They'll be faithful to Broadcom in 2014.

Odd cos Qualcomm are partnered with Atheros and I remember reading an article that said Paratek preferred to work with Atheros chips.
Things change though, time will tell.

I should have been clearer. A lot (or possibly all) Qualcomm chipsets have Wifi/FM embedded, provided by Atheros, but only Caf/Kopi series are using them. It's probably a cost-cutting exercise.

I'm not sure why BlackBerry is even wasting their time and efforts to release a low end device (Kopi Series) that has specs lower than the Q5. Who are they trying to impress and better yet, who would buy this device?

I think they got the Q5 wrong because they needed something ASAP and so they've upgraded the platform for cheap devices and are going to be releasing the Z5 along with V2 of the Q5. There is no way this is next year's Z10/Q10 with specs like a 5MP camera...
Sure there is a way. This is BlackBerry. They are not in the spec race.

They won't be in the phone race much longer if they keep pi$$ing off their customers.
