I wonder if the STA100-3 is further split into two sub-variants like the STL100-3 was.

    R097 - ?
R117 - King STK100 ROW (Rest Of the World)
    R127 - King STK100 NA
Interesting that King only has a NA and RoW (unless R097 is grouped with it). Would that be becuase there's no Verizon-specific model and no non-LTE model?

The R097 could be the non-LTE model. Which would make this line similar to the Q5 line.

No Sprint version or are we to believe the STA100-4 will also work for Sprint? If not, then what the floppy tennis ball teats will be the Sprint version?!?
Good catch! . I missed it as it has only one LTE band.
Updated: Removed the version number as this is apparently not based on radios...

    A SERIES
    R081 - Aristo STA100 NA
    R089 - Astro STA100 LTE
    R096 - Anisio STA100 Verizon
    R108 - Athos STA100 Sprint
    Rxxx - Aramis (Asia/Americas)
    Rxxx - Argos TD-LTE (China/India/Middle East)

Yeah, I like that name as well
A shame about the lack of removable battery in the A and AQ series though...

My feeling is that this device is far, far ,faaaaaar away in time, so things could change by then. They could just be using a standard 720p LCD while they take their time to decide which panel will be in the final product.

In that case they'd have to scale the UI for optimal usage. If that was the case the 10.2 leaks would have had some information about them?

This is a very informative thread. Great post, OP.

But wait, wait...does that mean we're now believing that the A10 (or whatever) is going to be a quad core? I feel there is way too many threads and speculation on the A10 in the CB forums that it seems everyone has just resided to the fact that the A10 is dual-core with a quad GPU.

QC is for Qualcomm. I've updated the post to avoid any confusion

The King series peaks my interest... Anymore information on it?

Probably a beastlier version of the current Z10? But I saw it being just put under the L series section... So won't the specs change? Or is it going to be cosmetic and camera and stuff...

Thanks did the info! The AQ Series looks to be the real powerhouse we were expecting.

It's interesting that there's still a resolution of 1280x768 listed for future L - Series models (not including the Z10). I thought the Z10 was going to be the only model with that resolution and that all future models would be either 1280x720 or 720x720.

Future L series seems to be a Z5. It has the Q5 camera so I'm expecting this to come out next.

That's what I was thinking as well. I think the L-Series will become BlackBerry's midrange. The Z10 could've possibly been given the 8MP camera simply because it was intended to bd the flagship device until the A (or AQ) Series device launches. I still thought the resolution was going to be dropped to 1280x720 but maybe not.

The following information comes straight from the OS. The closer we are to the launch of a device, the more info we have. Some families share specs with older platforms and might be split later on.

    A SERIES
    STA100 - Touch - 5" 720p OLED
    MSM8960AB - 1.7 GHz dual-core Krait 300 - Adreno 320
Based on Wikipedia, the Krait 300 - Adreno 320 is a quad core processor, not Dual Core

Snapdragon (system on chip) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It's the same chip as S4

Wouldn't the AQ be some type of a slider maybe? A10+Q10. That would be sweet, plus a quad core?

It puzzles me... Same architecture as the Z10. I'm thinking tablet, but the screen is still set at 4.2". Maybe it will change in the coming months.

No, the SoC numbers (8960AB) refers to a combination of elements. Krait is the name of the CPU architecture and it can come in various configurations. One of them is dual-core.
