2252 is out, still nothing new. SQW100-4 still only for North America. No new devices.
We don't have an FCC ID, right? I did a time frame check and nothing pops up from April 1 onwards. Hopefully it's just hidden.

    I just realized this:

This new device, the Dallas, cannot be released as the Passport, due to AT&T's exclusivity deal. So, it's probably coming to T-Mobile, but with a different name, despite its model being SQW100-3 (Passport family). Hopefully they can do the same with the SQW100-2 and put it on Verizon.

    I'm getting desperate lol.

So the same or similar device does not violate exclusivity if simply sold under a different name? That's not a troll post, just valid question I'm asking myself....

Depends on what type of an exclusivity agreement it is. There are color exclusives, duration exclusives, feature exclusives, etc.

And finally, by default is there really an 'agreement' in place if only one carrier chose to carry that device and nobody else was willing to?

    BlackBerry Director (STV100-1). - "Venice"
    BlackBerry Slide (STV100-3)
    BlackBerry Fire / Light (STV100-4)

    RHS191LW (SQE100-1) "Ecuador"

So looks like there will be many variants, which means less bands for LTE on each model. A "world phone" would have been nice.

    My guess for the names!

Interesting. So Venice (slider) and E-series qwerty. I feel like with the same naming structure for the codenames, these should be QNX/BB10 devices still. I imagine they would go with something else if they made a significant change to the OS to Android.

But then again, it could just be specific to the hardware. I hope we get an answer soon. The SQE100-1 intrigues me.

Is that of Ontario? What does it mean to that be UNKNOWN, though?

I put UNKNOWN for IDs without corresponding devices.

I know two of them are Ontario devices, but I don't have the specific STO100-# to pair them with.

Besides, speculation is that the upcoming Oslo will reuse the STO100-# designation.

As one can see, the IDs are in a bit of a series. One can guess as to what the UNKNOWNs mean.

Did you found any new bits of Oslo in the OS? I only saw GLO config of it in the OS.

I had a quick look at the OS.

Dallas? That's the name of the prototypes used to develop WINDERMERE4ROW.
Now Oslo could be the same thing for WINDERMERE2ROW or WINDERMERE3ROW.

One of these windermere devices could also very well be the Porsche designed one, another one a faster Passport, etc.
Production has started, so we should know soon.

WINDERMEREWICHITA was the reference platform for the north American Passport.

Just the fact that it's a new series of qwerty phones, though it might just be the P9984.
