    Spruced up Z3 for what so? Slightly better screen,0.5 GB of ram and 300+ mhz/cpu ?

    Posted via CB10
    It's a spruced up Z3 in the market segment by being a cheapened Z30. So take a Z30, shave off NFC, HDMI, stuff like that and you end up with a 5" lower cost fixed-battery phone but with a 720x1280 screen, 8960/8960AB SoC and LTE: an improved Z3.

    One of the bottom two is riog (R157), the other is riob (R156).

    RioB, at least for now, has almost the same bands as ManitobaNA but not LTE 25. RioG has the same bands as ManitobaROW.

    I'm confused as to what BB is doing with its full touch line. We already have a low end option, and yet they keep producing low end touch phones. Also, why have they been so hush hush about these devices?

    Also, Manitoba and Rio are so spec similar I'm thinking one will be scrapped and one will make it to market.

    I wonder why they have decided to called it "Leap" intrigued.

    Personally I would have gone with a Z15.. now before you say no no that's stupid here is my logic.

    Say for example I have a BlackBerry Rainier and I say to someone oh my upgrade is a BlackBerry Classic but I'm eyeing the BlackBerry Passport.

    Then a friend could ask, sooo what's better? They would have to look up each individual device to see what's better, whereas if I had a;

    BlackBerry Q5 I can say to someone that my upgrade is the BlackBerry Q20 (Classic) but I'm eyeing the BlackBerry Q30 (Passport)

    It makes it much easier to see what's better. But that being said, the numbers would very quickly go beyond 100 and then would become silly but I still think BlackBerry should be giving them Z or Q names to it makes it easier to remember

    Lol sorry, i should have been more specific. I was talking about a tablet no ways you can have a phone for 10 inches lol. Although. The samsung galaxy Mega is pretty ridiculous and I've seen many people makes phone calls on a iPad mini..... so anything is possible lol

    And I am sure the "Titan" will debut in 2017 with the specs it was announced with in 2015 or whenever they are announced

    FCC IDs?

    Unless otherwise stated, one of those Z20s should have the same FCC ID as one of the Leap models (L6ARHC160LW), which is confusing. Unless it's two names for the same device...

    There aren't any mentioned. And here's where I found them: page 2 of 'User Manual II' for Passport RGY180LW. Totally out of place.

    I guess BB rehired the thousand monkeys at a thousand typewriters that was their marketing division and put them to work in certification...

    Anyway, the S&PI at the FCC is datestamped in the corner 2014 06 30, while the public one on the BlackBerry website is 2014 09 22. Would help explain things.
